Senior R&D Device Test and Characterization Engineer

This engineer supports semiconductor technology development by designing and running electrical characterization and reliability experiments on wafer-level devices. The position combines hands-on operation of probe stations and measurement instruments with Python-based automation, data processing, visualization, and reporting. As part of the device characterization laboratory, the engineer owns test systems, maintains measurement quality and traceability, and works with internal teams, vendors, and facilities partners to resolve issues and expand capabilities. The role is suited to someone with strong semiconductor fundamentals who enjoys troubleshooting integrated hardware and software systems and learning new measurement methods. It is especially appropriate for an engineer interested in applying statistical, machine-learning, and AI techniques to improve laboratory workflows.

Requirements

Degree in electrical engineering, semiconductor engineering, physics, materials science, computer engineering, or related fieldHands-on wafer-level characterization and probe-station experienceExperience with semiconductor parameter analyzers and reliability testingProficiency developing Python scripts for instrument control and data analysisKnowledge of NumPy, pandas, SciPy, Matplotlib, or similar engineering toolsStrong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
