Field Software Engineer

This engineer works with design, quality, support, and field teams to develop, maintain, test, and improve software used in ASM semiconductor equipment. They investigate mechanical, electrical, and software problems, lead customer escalations, support upgrades, and help validate customer-specific applications. The position also involves translating customer needs into specifications, contributing fixes and small enhancements, and maintaining technical documentation and test coverage. It suits a software engineer who enjoys debugging integrated hardware-software systems and working directly with customers and global engineering groups.
