Staff EO Signal Image Processing Engineer - 5

The position is part of Northrop Grumman’s EO/IR modeling, algorithms, and simulation function within a Seeker Integrated Product Team in Chandler, Arizona. The engineer architects closed-loop 6-DOF simulations, develops processing algorithms, models sensors and environments, and assesses seeker performance against laboratory, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight data. This role serves as a key technical partner to guidance, navigation and control, systems, software, firmware, and hardware teams. It also includes mentoring engineers, guiding requirements and verification activities, leading technical reviews, and improving engineering and agile practices. The opportunity suits an experienced EO/IR or seeker specialist with strong modeling and simulation expertise, software skills, and a record of leading complex defense engineering programs.
