Field Service Engineer 2

This position is part of Lam Research’s Customer Support organization and supports the performance and reliability of advanced semiconductor manufacturing systems. The engineer investigates electrical, mechanical, and electronic problems, identifies component-level causes, and carries out repairs, installations, relocations, and equipment modifications at customer facilities. The role also involves documenting service activity, creating response plans, explaining technical issues to customers, and coaching less experienced engineers. It suits an engineering professional with semiconductor equipment experience who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, customer interaction, and continuous technical learning. Frequent travel, cleanroom work, flexible shifts, and occasional overtime or on-call coverage are expected.
