Robot Programmer and Process Engineer

This position supports FM Industries’ precision manufacturing operations by translating customer and internal design data into efficient thermal spray robot programs. The engineer uses SolidWorks and ABB RobotStudio/RAPID programming while coordinating with engineering, setup teams, and operators to validate programs and achieve first-article approval. Responsibilities include developing fixtures and shop aids, controlling program revisions, preparing work instructions, and improving repetitive production processes. The role also contributes technical leadership, technology adoption, and safe management of equipment and chemical-related processes. It would suit a technically trained manufacturing professional with robotics, CAD, thermal spray, or semiconductor experience and strong analytical and communication skills.
