Director, Supplier Development

This position oversees supplier development strategy for critical materials and machining processes supporting new products and long-term business growth. The director will guide a team of approximately six engineers while assessing suppliers’ technical capabilities, production processes, capacity, and expansion plans. The role works across sourcing, engineering, and product organizations to select suppliers, establish process controls, and support product launches, scaling, and cost improvement. Once supplier processes are stable, ongoing quality oversight will transition to the Supplier Quality function. It is well suited to an experienced engineering or operations leader with strong supplier development expertise, people-management ability, and experience in semiconductor or similarly complex manufacturing environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering disciplineExtensive supplier development, manufacturing, sourcing, or technical operations experienceExpertise in manufacturing processes and supplier capability assessmentExperience leading cross-functional initiatives across sourcing and engineeringProven people-management experience with technical teamsStrategic ability to evaluate supplier capacity, scalability, and long-term fit
