Field Process Engineer 4

This position sits within Lam Research’s Customer Support organization and helps customers achieve reliable results from installed semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The engineer develops and refines process recipes, leads evaluations and new-technology installations, analyzes experimental data, and investigates process deviations or equipment-related issues. They work closely with customers, hardware engineers, field service personnel, and other cross-functional partners to define requirements and improve product performance. The role also includes providing technical guidance, preparing reports and recommendations, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and communicating solutions to customers. It suits an experienced semiconductor process professional who is comfortable working hands-on in cleanroom environments, managing changing priorities, and leading collaborative technical problem-solving.
