Machinist V - Swing Shift - (T5)

This position performs complex machining and assembly work using mills, grinders, drills, saws, and other shop equipment to create prototype and production components. The machinist interprets work orders, blueprints, sketches, and instructions; selects tooling and fixtures; plans efficient setups; and verifies finished dimensions through inspection and rework. The role supports manufacturing, engineering, facilities, and other internal groups while maintaining an orderly and safe work area. It is suited to a highly experienced machinist comfortable with five-axis equipment, Fanuc controls, programming concepts, and machining graphite and silicon carbide. Candidates must also be able to meet the physical demands of extended standing, lifting, bending, tool use, and operating heavy machinery.
