Principal Engineer

This engineer will verify ASIC and mixed-signal designs by creating testbenches, simulation models, checkers, assertions, and regression suites. The position works closely with design leadership to translate IP and device specifications into comprehensive verification plans and test strategies. Responsibilities include running digital, gate-level, and top-level simulations, tracking issues, debugging failures, and supporting verification reviews before tape-out. The role sits within NXP’s semiconductor product development function and suits an experienced verification professional with strong SystemVerilog, UVM, SoC, and processor-based design knowledge. Candidates should also be comfortable with serial interfaces, C-based testing, coverage analysis, and collaborative problem solving.
