Sr Principal Engineer, Design

This position joins onsemi’s transfer program management function and provides design expertise throughout acquisition and manufacturing-transfer projects. The engineer assesses differences between sending and receiving sites, determines potential impacts on device, circuit, and test performance, and helps teams evaluate technical risk. Responsibilities also include enabling foundry-compatible design environments, supporting tape-ins and tape-outs, and making layout data changes when required. The role suits an experienced semiconductor design professional who can work independently, lead improvements, and make balanced technical decisions across design, process, modeling, and manufacturing concerns. It is especially relevant for candidates with deep experience in device matching, design rules, probe or yield analysis, and CAD layout support.
