Engineer, Field Service- Early Career

This position places an entry-level engineer on a customer site in North Valley/Phoenix, where they will help install, service, repair, and improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The engineer will work alongside experienced colleagues while developing skills in areas such as vacuum technology, plasma, robotics, sensors, chemical delivery, and equipment-process integration. Success requires a strong commitment to safety, clear customer communication, practical problem solving, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. The role is well suited to recent engineering graduates with project, laboratory, internship, co-op, or other hands-on technical experience who want a long-term career in semiconductor technology. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime and domestic or international travel possible.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, electromechanical engineering, or a related disciplineHands-on technical experience through internships, co-ops, labs, projects, or researchAbility to interpret basic electronic and electromechanical schematicsWillingness to work in cleanrooms and follow strict safety and quality proceduresStrong troubleshooting, communication, customer-service, and teamwork skillsWillingness to travel domestically and internationally
