Senior Controls Engineer (Exentec)

This senior engineer will develop automation concepts, control-panel designs, schematics, software, budgets, schedules, and project proposals while supporting several projects at different stages. The position includes creating PLC and HMI programs, applying electrical and industry standards, leading design reviews, and helping ensure systems are manufacturable, testable, and cost-effective. The engineer will also assist manufacturing and field service with system builds, installations, troubleshooting, retrofits, and repairs. As a technical leader, the role involves mentoring electrical and software engineers and coordinating with supply chain and account management. It suits an experienced controls professional comfortable with onsite work, customer interaction, project leadership, and occasional work beyond normal hours.
