Exentec, which says it is a subsidiary of the Exyte Group and supplies the infrastructure semiconductor fabs run on, lists three Arizona sites on its U.S. location page as of October 2026: Phoenix for Media Supply products, Tolleson for Exhaust & Abatement products and Chandler for Installation Services. It is the technology and services business of Exyte, a Stuttgart, Germany based builder of high-tech facilities [not independently verified]. Exyte announced the Exentec brand in October 2024 for its Technology & Services business area, which was formed in 2020 and has expanded through several acquisitions. The announcement said the brand would cover the whole business area starting from early 2025 [not independently verified]. The company's own pages used the Exentec name as of October 2026, and Exyte's history page lists the unveiling under 2025 [not independently verified]. Exentec says it works with semiconductor manufacturers to design, build and deliver the infrastructure and controlled environments that advanced chip production requires. Its product lines include media supply systems, which it says deliver ultra-high purity gases, chemicals and process media inside fabs, and point-of-use gas abatement systems for deposition, etch and diffusion process tools, which it says it supplies to major semiconductor companies around the world.
In the chip supply chain, Exentec sits at the factory infrastructure stage: it supplies the facility systems that wafer fabs run on and does not make chips itself [not independently verified]. The verified facts show no direct role in artificial intelligence. Among its project case studies, Exentec says it delivered bulk gas, chemical, drain and process mechanical systems for a research facility that included infrastructure required for High-NA EUV lithography technology. The project page places that work in the United States without naming the site or client [not independently verified], so Arizona AI does not treat it as Arizona work.
Exentec's documented Arizona history begins with an acquisition. In March 2024 Exyte completed its purchase of CollabraTech Solutions, a Phoenix-based company founded in 2013 that specialized in designing ultrahigh purity process equipment for semiconductor manufacturing and, Exyte said, offered distribution systems and configurable components for high-purity, inert and reactive materials. At the time CollabraTech employed approximately 70 people and said its customers included major semiconductor device and equipment manufacturers, none of which were named. In May 2024 Exyte said two other subsidiaries, Diversified Fluid Solutions and NEHP, already had U.S. facilities in Arizona, Texas and Vermont; the release did not give the Arizona addresses. No later source on those Arizona facilities after May 2024 was found.
Today the company's U.S. location page lists three Arizona sites. Exentec U.S. Inc. is listed at 3451 E. Harbour Drive in Phoenix for Media Supply products. Exential U.S. Inc. is listed at 9191 W Buckeye Rd in Tolleson for Exhaust & Abatement products and at 2440 E. Germann Rd, Suite 9 in Chandler for Installation Services. The page does not say whether each site manufactures, stocks or services its product line, and it does not explain why two entity names are used. The Arizona Technology Council member directory lists Exentec under manufacturing at the Harbour Drive address in Phoenix.
Most of Exentec's published achievements are worldwide figures. The company says it has delivered more than 10,000 projects globally and does not state an Arizona share. In April 2024 Exyte announced plans to acquire Kinetics Group, a business that had developed and manufactured chemical, slurry and gas process equipment for ultra-high purity applications since 1973. Exentec introduced Facility Services in March 2026 following the Kinetics acquisition and says that team handles more than 600,000 gas and chemical container changes a year, with more than 1,100 facility managers, technicians and engineers serving clients across over 30 facilities worldwide. Exentec says it secured its first technical facility management contract in the United States in 2025 and calls that work a focus for growth into 2026. No update on that contract after March 2026 was found. It has not named the client or site, and Arizona AI does not attribute that contract to Arizona.
Exentec has not published an Arizona employee count, building size or opening date for any of its three Arizona sites. The nearest figures are for the parent company nationally: in June 2024 Exyte reported more than 2,300 employees in the United States and said it planned to create around 1,000 jobs for upcoming U.S. projects [not independently verified]. No update on that hiring plan after June 2024 was found. Those numbers cover the whole Exyte group across the country, so Arizona AI does not treat them as Exentec's Arizona workforce. No verified source ties Exentec's Arizona business to Intel or TSMC in Arizona.
