AZ EH&S Engineer

This position works with EH&S leadership, operations, vendors, and site teams to build a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and related requirements. Responsibilities include hazard assessments, incident and root-cause investigations, Management of Change reviews, employee training, safety committee follow-up, and implementation of corrective actions. The engineer oversees records such as chemical inventories, Safety Data Sheets, hazardous waste manifests, audit results, emergency plans, and ISO 14001/45001 documentation. The role also provides technical guidance on industrial hygiene, ergonomics, hazardous waste, air and wastewater compliance, and regulatory inspections while coaching an EH&S Specialist. It suits an experienced manufacturing EH&S professional who can manage multiple facilities, communicate effectively, and work comfortably around chemicals, machinery, and industrial operations.
