Process Support Engineer III

This engineer will serve as the technical connection between customers and Applied Materials’ business teams, translating equipment or process issues into effective solutions. Responsibilities include installing complex systems, diagnosing and repairing problems, verifying operational quality, and training customers on equipment use and upkeep. The position also supports process and integration improvements so tools meet production requirements. It is part of the Global Field Group, a customer-focused organization that sustains semiconductor manufacturing equipment in the field. The role suits an experienced semiconductor capital equipment or process engineering professional who is comfortable working onsite, collaborating across teams, and traveling as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM disciplineAt least 5 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment or a comparable high-tech industryPreferred 3+ years in applications or process engineeringKnowledge of at least three processes across one or more technologiesExperience troubleshooting, servicing, and optimizing complex equipmentWillingness to work onsite in Phoenix and travel approximately 25%
