Photo/Metrology Equipment Engineer ECHO Fab

This engineer supports multiple photo or metrology processes and equipment, partnering with manufacturing, process engineering, maintenance, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities span troubleshooting equipment issues, analyzing performance data, responding to SPC and FDC events, managing parts and vendors, and establishing maintenance and qualification standards. The engineer also leads improvement projects involving upgrades, automation, preventative actions, expanded tool capability, and new equipment installations. The position includes training technicians, documenting procedures, presenting technical findings, and contributing to cross-functional initiatives. It suits a technically trained, self-directed engineer with semiconductor or manufacturing experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a disciplined approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (mechanical or industrial engineering preferred)Experience with photo, metrology, or plating equipment toolsSemiconductor manufacturing experience in process or equipment engineeringAbility to analyze equipment performance data and develop action plans for recurring failuresStrong troubleshooting skills with capability to understand technical problems and implement solutionsAbility to obtain and maintain Export Control Clearance
