Technical Director

The Technical Director serves as a senior technical and customer-facing leader supporting ASM’s semiconductor business across several U.S. locations. This person develops customer relationships, translates emerging technology needs into internal priorities, and guides solutions from product selection through ongoing ownership. The role coordinates with marketing, product development, service engineering, and global teams to deliver effective support and strengthen commercial opportunities. It also involves leading improvement initiatives, business-critical projects, management reviews, and technology transfer efforts within a matrixed organization. The position suits an experienced engineering leader with substantial semiconductor or capital equipment knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to turn strategic ideas into practical action.
