Senior Planner

The Senior Planner manages the flow of production by balancing customer demand, available materials, equipment, labor, and manufacturing capacity. They use ERP systems and planning tools to create schedules, release and adjust work orders, track progress, and expedite resources when delivery risks arise. The position collaborates with operations, engineering, customer program teams, and management when changes, shortages, or backlogs require revised plans. A significant part of the role involves applying lean and continuous improvement techniques to strengthen manufacturing processes.
