This position supports FM Industries’ manufacturing operations by creating process routings, bills of material, cycle-time estimates, cost proposals, and production documentation. The engineer also develops fixtures, cutting tools, shop aids, and test-support designs, while using CAD and manufacturing software to translate product requirements into workable processes. Collaboration with manufacturing, NPI, equipment engineering, suppliers, and customers is central to the role, including participation in improvement projects and project management activities. The position includes responsibility for following environmental, health, and safety practices, particularly around chemical processes and facility operations. It would suit an early-career engineer with strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities who is interested in precision manufacturing and may have semiconductor industry experience.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent related experienceKnowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, tooling, and quality standardsAbility to apply algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to product definitionProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong verbal, written, presentation, and analytical skillsSolidWorks experience and semiconductor industry experience preferred
