Director, Engineering

The Director of Engineering oversees manufacturing engineering activities from process planning and equipment development through product launches and continuous improvement. This position leads manufacturing and project engineers, establishes technical procedures, manages project budgets and schedules, and supports hiring, training, and performance oversight. The role partners with quality, maintenance, research and development, suppliers, and contractors to resolve production issues, validate specifications, and improve facility layouts and lean manufacturing systems. It also contributes to vendor qualification, subcontractor training, safety compliance, and the use of new manufacturing technologies.
