Field Service Engineer 2

This position is part of Lam Research’s Customer Support organization, which helps customers maintain the performance, safety, and productivity of their installed equipment. The engineer performs equipment installations, relocations, repairs, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance, often isolating problems down to individual components. They document service activity, communicate equipment status and issues to customers, and coordinate with internal teams when additional support is needed. The role is suited to an electronics or engineering professional who enjoys field-based work, complex electromechanical systems, and direct customer interaction. Candidates should be comfortable working in cleanrooms, traveling frequently, and supporting flexible schedules that may include overtime or on-call coverage.
