Field Systems Engineer - Photomask Production Systems

This engineer serves as a key technical escalation point for customer-critical failures, system recoveries, and performance issues involving photomask production equipment. They investigate multidisciplinary problems across optics, lasers, electronics, mechanics, software, controls, and process systems, then guide corrective actions through field implementation and validation. The position works closely with engineering, product support, quality, manufacturing, and service teams on installations, upgrades, new product activities, reliability programs, and engineering changes. It also includes creating service documentation, analyzing equipment data, training field personnel, and mentoring customer-facing engineers. This opportunity suits an experienced semiconductor equipment or advanced manufacturing professional who combines strong troubleshooting and root-cause skills with customer communication and cross-functional leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, applied sciences, or a related technical field4–7 years supporting semiconductor capital equipment, photomask, lithography, laser, or advanced manufacturing systemsExperience troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical, optical, laser, software, and process systemsAbility to lead technical escalations, root-cause investigations, and cross-functional recovery effortsStrong communication, project leadership, reliability improvement, and customer engagement skillsWillingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
