The intern will join a Space Sector quality organization supporting the inspection and acceptance of spacecraft, assemblies, parts, and final products. Responsibilities include conducting configuration audits, reviewing test information, applying process controls, and verifying that repairs or modifications meet approved requirements. The position suits a transitioning service member with hands-on quality inspection or integration-and-test experience who can interpret drawings, schematics, inspection plans, and technical documentation. Familiarity with aerospace workmanship standards, electrical harnesses, ISO or AS9100 environments, and quality databases would be helpful. Participants must meet SkillBridge eligibility rules and be prepared to work on-site across first, second, or third shifts.

Active-duty service member within 12 months of separation or retirement with 180+ days of serviceHigh school diploma/equivalent plus 4 years additional education or related experience2+ years quality assurance inspector or equivalent experience in system-level or integration & test environmentsAbility to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearanceStrong technical writing skills and proficiency with Microsoft applicationsAbility to read engineering documentation and inspect to drawings and specifications
