GNC Engineer: Modeling and Simulation/Scrum Master – Level 2/3 (Chandler)

This engineer will develop and maintain modeling, simulation, and analysis capabilities for missile, launch vehicle, and space flight systems. Responsibilities include implementing and verifying GNC algorithms, integrating them into flight software, analyzing trajectories, processing performance data, and improving simulation fidelity. The position also serves as Scrum Master by coordinating Agile ceremonies and helping the team strengthen its development practices. It is a fully onsite opportunity on a 9/80 schedule within Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector. It suits candidates with aerospace simulation and software experience, strong C++ and scripting skills, Agile leadership experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years experience (Level 2) or 5+ years experience (Level 3); or Master's degree with relevant experienceProficiency in C++, Python, MATLAB, and Bash programming languagesExperience developing simulation toolchains and frameworksStrong background in Agile methodologies with Scrum Master or Agile Facilitator experienceAbility to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearancePreferred: GNC algorithm experience, HPC proficiency (SLURM/PBS), CI/CD pipelines, or active security clearance
