This engineer will lead the design and integration of advanced signal-processing algorithms, closed-loop 6-DOF simulations, and EO/IR phenomenology models used to assess seeker performance and prepare for flight testing. Working within the Seeker Integrated Product Team, the position connects modeling and simulation work with GNC, software, firmware, hardware, and systems engineering activities. Responsibilities include directing HWIL and real-time testing, comparing predictions with laboratory or flight data, and resolving discrepancies through model and algorithm improvements. The successful candidate will also establish technical direction, mentor engineers, represent the team in reviews, and promote disciplined development and configuration practices. This opportunity suits an experienced EO/IR, optical systems, or signal-processing engineer with a strong background in high-reliability defense systems and technical leadership.
