FCO Strategic/Development Functional Area Industrial Engineer

IntelPhoenix, AZ$120,860.00-$170,630.00 USD annually

This position supports Intel’s Foundry Capacity Optimization function by developing long-range plans for factory capacity, equipment placement, conversions, and capital allocation. The engineer will analyze business and manufacturing data, build models and reports, and translate findings into decisions aligned with demand, factory capabilities, product plans, and investment limits. Success requires close collaboration with leadership and partners across the organization, along with the ability to communicate recommendations clearly and drive implementation. The role is well suited to an experienced industrial or manufacturing engineer who enjoys strategic analysis, complex problem-solving, and continuous improvement in a fast-moving environment. Regular onsite work is required, with locations in Hillsboro, Phoenix, or Albuquerque.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related engineering fieldAt least 4 years of experience in data analysis, capacity planning, or financial systems and processesExperience developing data-driven models, reports, or strategic recommendationsStrong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and influencing skillsAbility to manage data and work independently in an ambiguous, dynamic environmentExperience with Power BI, simulation modeling, or Python is preferred
