Sr. Principal Optomechanical Engineer - 4

This engineer will join the Electro-Optics Group and collaborate with a multidisciplinary seeker team developing prototype and flight hardware. Responsibilities include creating precision optomechanical designs, CAD models, drawings, performance analyses, error budgets, and line-of-sight stability assessments. The position also supports environmental testing, analysis-to-test correlation, troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, and technical design reviews. It suits an experienced mechanical, optical, or physics professional familiar with imaging systems, precision alignment, structural and thermal effects, and defense hardware requirements. Candidates should be comfortable communicating technical results across engineering and manufacturing organizations and working on high-reliability systems subject to demanding environmental conditions.
