Principal Mechanical Engineer

This engineer will support the Space Systems integration and test organization throughout spacecraft assembly, testing, and potentially launch operations. Responsibilities include coordinating technical staff, preparing work instructions and test procedures, overseeing work-center readiness, analyzing test results, and addressing nonconformances through effective corrective actions. The position requires close collaboration with manufacturing, design, operations, and other engineering groups while maintaining rigorous safety, quality, and customer requirements. It is well suited to an experienced aerospace or manufacturing engineer who can provide technical leadership and mentor less experienced personnel. The schedule is first shift on a 9/80 arrangement in Gilbert, Arizona, with approximately 10% travel.
