Staff Optomechanical Engineer - 5

This engineer will work within a multidisciplinary Electro-Optics and seeker development team supporting both prototype and flight hardware. Responsibilities include creating precision optical mounts and structures, building detailed CAD models and drawings, performing STOP and SILOS analyses, and supporting environmental testing and design correlation. The position also involves technical leadership through design reviews, troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, error-budget development, and communication with program and customer stakeholders. It is suited to an experienced mechanical, optical, or physics professional with extensive aerospace or defense experience and a strong background in precision optomechanical systems. Candidates must be comfortable working across engineering and manufacturing functions and hold an active, in-scope U.S. DoD Secret clearance.
