Inspector 2 - 1st Shift

This fully onsite position supports manufacturing quality by examining assemblies and subsystems for defects, missing components, dimensional issues, and other nonconformities. The inspector determines whether items should be accepted, rejected, or reworked and completes lot clearances to prevent materials from being mixed between production runs. Work is guided by blueprints, drawings, parts lists, inspection plans, specifications, and checklists, with possible use of statistical process controls. It suits a detail-oriented manufacturing professional with cable inspection experience, strong technical reading skills, and a dependable approach to quality. The schedule is first shift, generally 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., under a 9/80 work arrangement.
