GNC Engineer: Modeling & Simulation Product Lead – GPI (Level 4/5) – Secret

This engineer will create, integrate, verify, and analyze GNC algorithms, flight software, and high-fidelity simulation tools for aerospace vehicles. As the modeling and simulation product lead, the person will coordinate planning, support and mentor engineers, facilitate cross-functional work, and communicate with customers and working groups. The position involves C++, Python, MATLAB, Bash, trajectory analysis, 3DoF/6DoF modeling, data evaluation, and validation of simulated performance against requirements. It is suited to an experienced aerospace or controls professional with leadership experience, strong software and simulation skills, and familiarity with missile, launch vehicle, or spacecraft systems. The role is fully onsite in Chandler, requires an active Secret clearance, and may be filled at Level 4 or Level 5.

Active Secret security clearance required at application; U.S. citizenship requiredBachelor's degree with 8+ years experience (or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years) for Level 4; 12+, 10+, or 8+ years respectively for Level 5Proficiency in C++, Python, MATLAB, and Bash scripting with expertise in 6DoF simulation model developmentStrong background designing, developing, and testing GNC algorithms and control systems for aerospace applicationsProven experience leading, mentoring, and training engineering teamsKnowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and aerospace verification/validation processes
