This engineer will join Intel Foundry Construction and Sourcing’s Project Execution Team and serve as the local equipment owner for assigned installation work. Responsibilities include coordinating equipment and kit delivery, maintaining system and configuration accuracy, planning supplier and contractor activities, and ensuring funding and purchase commitments support project milestones. The position requires hands-on troubleshooting of installation and facility issues, escalation of roadblocks, and collaboration with teams across sites and functions. It also emphasizes safety, quality, procedural compliance, cost control, and continuous improvement in semiconductor manufacturing construction. This opportunity suits an engineering or technical project professional who can lead in a complex matrix environment, communicate with senior stakeholders, and work onsite at a fast pace.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field, plus 1+ year of relevant experience, or a related master’s degreeExperience in construction, engineering, project management, or hands-on technical workStrong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder coordination skillsAbility to troubleshoot equipment and installation issues and perform root-cause analysisUnderstanding of supplier, contractor, configuration, scheduling, and funding coordinationKnowledge of semiconductor equipment installation, EHS, and technical documentation is preferred
