Fiber Delivery Engineer

This engineer works on Microsoft’s Cloud Interconnection and Acquisitions team, supporting the delivery of diverse fiber routes and connectivity infrastructure. Responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and routing details, assisting commercial teams, and coordinating outside suppliers through construction, permitting, and cable installation activities. The role also involves maintaining end-to-end schedules, developing progress reports, and resolving delivery issues with internal stakeholders and external partners. It is suited to an engineer or technical project manager with telecommunications outside-plant experience, strong planning skills, and familiarity with AutoCAD or GIS tools.
