Advanced Financial Specialist

This position belongs to the finance function supporting departments, projects, and cost pools within GDMS. The specialist prepares forecasts, evaluates financial results, tracks budgets and allocations, investigates variances, and develops materials for executive decision-making. Responsibilities also include assessing investments and business opportunities, accounting for regulatory impacts, supporting invoicing and planning, and identifying ways to improve finance processes through automation or AI. The role is well suited to an experienced accounting or finance professional who understands government contracting requirements and can work confidently with complex data. Candidates with dashboard development, financial modeling, analytics, or emerging finance technology experience may be especially competitive.
