Computer Operations Analyst 2/3 - Linux

This position supports the CIDO Space Operations organization by keeping Linux infrastructure reliable and secure across firewall-protected and standalone environments. Daily work includes managing RHEL users, storage, packages, services, networking, patches, backups, monitoring, and automated provisioning. The analyst will also investigate technical problems, maintain ITSM records, assist with physical server maintenance, and coordinate with engineering, security, and program teams. Security-focused duties include vulnerability remediation, system hardening, compliance documentation, and adherence to regulated information-system practices. It suits an experienced Linux administrator who is comfortable working on-site, handling mission-critical systems, lifting equipment, and supporting occasional after-hours incidents, with the position level determined by education and experience.
