This engineer will support the Launch Systems Integration and Test organization by working directly with flight hardware, optical sensors, imaging systems, and electrical support equipment in a fully onsite environment. Responsibilities include planning and executing system-level tests, managing discrepancies and corrective actions, updating designs and test documentation, and ensuring equipment, cleanrooms, and test operations meet applicable safety and aerospace requirements. The position also coordinates daily activities among multiple disciplines, leads small teams, mentors less experienced engineers, and promotes testability and producibility early in the design process. It suits an experienced electrical or electro-optical engineer with aerospace integration experience, strong diagnostic abilities, and familiarity with space-environment testing and hazardous operational settings. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and travel periodically.

Requirements

12+ years experience with Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or 10+ years with Master's degree)Experience with EO/IR systems, sensors, and imaging optics at systems levelHands-on electrical testing and diagnostic expertise with space environment testingCleanroom operations experience (ISO-6, ISO-7) and aerospace standards knowledgeLeadership experience training and directing junior engineers and cross-functional teamsAbility to obtain Secret security clearance and travel 10-20%
