This engineer will lead reliability analyses for launch vehicle systems, including reliability predictions, FMECA, fault tree analysis, and assessments of built-in test coverage. The position also examines failure and nonconformance data to evaluate screening effectiveness, corrective actions, and demonstrated system reliability. Working with multiple engineering groups, the engineer plans reliability activities, interprets customer and government requirements, and manages associated technical schedules and costs. The role suits an experienced reliability professional who can work independently, communicate effectively with multidisciplinary design teams, and present technical findings to varied audiences. Experience with reliability software, Bayesian statistics, probabilistic risk assessment, or launch vehicle systems would be advantageous.
