Embedded Software Engineer (Secret) - Level 3 (Chandler)

This engineer will design, implement, document, integrate, test, and troubleshoot embedded software supporting a mission-critical defense system. The position is part of Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector and involves close collaboration with hardware, systems, and test teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Successful candidates will be comfortable with object-oriented C/C++, real-time operating systems, debugging, and hardware-related integration activities. Experience with processor architectures, hardware-in-the-loop testing, or CI/CD tools would be valuable. It is well suited to an experienced software professional who holds U.S. citizenship, an active Secret clearance, and enjoys solving complex technical problems in an onsite engineering environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years professional experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year (additional 4+ years experience may substitute for degree)Object-oriented C/C++ development experience in Linux environmentsReal-time embedded software development, debugging, and testing skillsExperience with RTOS platforms such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, or Yocto LinuxU.S. Citizenship with active, in-scope Secret-level security clearance at application timeStrong written and verbal communication with problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
