(Skillbridge) Engineering Technician 2

The role supports engineers during the fabrication, assembly, modification, and testing of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical spacecraft systems. Work includes interpreting drawings, installing components, collecting and reviewing test data, troubleshooting faults, and following strict clean-room, safety, and flight-hardware procedures. The position is intended for transitioning service members participating in Northrop Grumman’s Military Internship Program and may provide a pathway to future employment, although SkillBridge participants remain on military compensation rather than receiving company pay. It suits hands-on technicians with aerospace or related equipment experience, strong attention to detail, and an interest in spacecraft integration and test. Candidates must be prepared for alternate shifts, weekends, overtime, physical handling of equipment, and up to 25% domestic travel.
