Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical, optical, or mechanical engineering (or related field) plus 8+ years experience, or advanced degree with corresponding experience reductionDeep understanding of photon detection principles and cryogenic cooled focal plane array systems for aerospace/defense applicationsDemonstrated experience planning and executing environmental tests (thermal-vacuum, vibration, shock) on electro-mechanical assembliesProven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, resolve complex technical issues, and communicate with senior stakeholdersEligibility to obtain or active Secret-level DoD security clearanceExperience with system avionics interfaces including command/telemetry, data buses, and power/timing protocols
