This engineer will manage a portfolio of facility expansions, building-system improvements, layouts, and construction initiatives in a complex multi-building setting. Key work includes developing scopes, estimates, forecasts, bid packages, technical requirements, and project documentation while monitoring design and construction quality. The position partners closely with facilities teams, vendors, contractors, program personnel, and senior leaders to resolve issues and communicate progress, risks, and recommendations. It also requires ensuring adherence to building codes, safety rules, security requirements, and company standards, with occasional evening or weekend support for critical work. The role suits an experienced project or construction professional who is organized, proactive, comfortable managing many projects simultaneously, and able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of project management or construction experience, or master’s degree with 3 yearsStrong project management, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skillsAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret and SCI clearanceExperience with facilities engineering in a complex, multi-building environment preferredEngineering or Construction Management degree preferredWillingness to support occasional evening or weekend construction activities
