Supplier Quality Engineer (Level 3 or 4)

This engineer will manage supplier quality for multiple component categories supporting Northrop Grumman’s Mesa manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include evaluating root-cause actions, approving first-article documentation, resolving receiving inspection problems, coordinating source inspections, and supporting new product introductions. The position works closely with suppliers, buyers, internal quality teams, and manufacturing personnel to improve performance and maintain approved supplier status. It suits a seasoned manufacturing quality professional who can assess processes, interpret engineering requirements, and drive corrective action through strong communication and analysis. Candidates may be considered at Level 3 or Level 4 based on experience, with aerospace, electronics, special-process, or quality certification experience advantageous.

9+ years of manufacturing quality experience for Level 3 or 12+ years for Level 4Supplier quality engineering experience and strong 8D corrective-action capabilityProficiency in GD&T and DFMEA/PFMEA methodsFamiliarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systemsStrong communication, presentation, statistical analysis, and supplier-management skillsWillingness to travel approximately 50%
