(Skillbridge) – Electrical Engineer 1

The role provides transitioning service members with practical experience in system-level electrical engineering within Northrop Grumman Space Systems. Working alongside the EGSE team, the participant helps develop and evaluate ground support, automated test, and integration equipment throughout the program lifecycle. Responsibilities include deriving requirements, contributing to design reviews and trade studies, performing testing and analysis, documenting results, and addressing technical issues or failures. The position suits an electrical engineering student or early-career professional with hands-on electronics experience, strong safety and teamwork habits, and an interest in aerospace or defense systems. Participation requires DoD SkillBridge eligibility, U.S. citizenship, and an active Secret clearance; the program itself does not provide Northrop Grumman compensation.
