Principal Configuration Analyst

This position establishes and improves configuration management practices for hardware, software, technical documentation, bills of material, and other controlled artifacts. The analyst coordinates engineering changes, contract documentation, configuration control boards, audits, and release readiness while using systems such as Siemens Teamcenter and SharePoint as part of the configuration record. The role partners with engineering, operations, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and program stakeholders to assess change impacts and maintain lifecycle traceability. It also includes developing metrics, improving automation, and guiding less experienced analysts and business partners. This opportunity suits an experienced configuration or product lifecycle management professional who is highly organized, analytical, comfortable with regulated environments, and able to communicate recommendations to leadership. The work is primarily office-based in Mesa with occasional travel and possible release-support duties.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience5+ years in configuration management, change management, or product lifecycle management rolesPractical knowledge of configuration management principles including versioning, baselines, change control, and traceabilityHands-on experience with CM tools such as Git, Jira, Siemens Teamcenter, and SharePointExcellent communication skills and ability to present to executive leadershipU.S. Citizen able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
