Specification Writer 3

This position supports engineering and program teams by editing, formatting, and quality-checking manuals, procedures, specifications, forms, and technical analyses. The writer collaborates with data managers, engineers, and other document specialists to coordinate revisions, apply required markings, and complete customer deliveries through lifecycle management systems. The work involves both classified and unclassified documentation and requires careful attention to accuracy, consistency, document structure, and compliance. It may suit an experienced technical writer or documentation professional who is comfortable with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and PLM or configuration-management tools. The position operates under general supervision on a 9/80 schedule and requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
