The Electrical Systems Engineer serves as a technical connector between high-level system requirements and detailed electrical design implementation. The engineer develops and refines electrical architectures including power distribution and communication buses, translates system requirements into testable electrical specifications, and manages interfaces between subsystems. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Software, and Integration teams throughout the design, review, and test phases. The position suits experienced electrical engineers with aerospace background who excel at requirements management, technical communication, and can work effectively in fast-paced development environments requiring both analytical rigor and collaborative leadership.

Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 5+ years experience (Level 3) or 8+ years (Level 4), or MS with 3-6 years respectivelyDemonstrated electrical systems engineering experience with requirements development and architecture definitionProficiency with requirement-management tools such as IBM DOORSExperience reading, interpreting, and authoring system-level and electrical requirements documentsStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilitiesU.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret security clearance
