Technical Staff Engineer- Validation

This engineer will work within Microchip’s Mixed-Signal and Linear Division, owning validation strategies and measurement systems for high-resolution ADC products. Responsibilities include creating evaluation hardware and fixtures, defining performance tests, characterizing devices across operating conditions, and diagnosing issues spanning silicon, instruments, firmware, and test hardware. The role also involves building automated workflows with tools such as LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, and NI PXI/PXIe equipment. The engineer will collaborate with design, applications, product, and test teams to support specifications, documentation, qualification, and release decisions. It is suited to an experienced mixed-signal specialist who can independently solve precision measurement challenges while mentoring engineers and guiding validation work across multiple products.
