Systems Safety Engineer – Level 2 or Level 3 (AHT)

This engineer will join a small Space Sector systems safety team supporting launch vehicle missions and their payload, ground equipment, facilities, and range interfaces. Responsibilities include developing and verifying safety requirements, analyzing hazards and system interactions, reviewing designs and test procedures, and producing documentation for customers and operational ranges. The position also involves site audits, launch and ground-operations support, customer presentations, and participation in investigations and corrective-action activities. It suits a STEM-trained engineer with experience in launch systems or comparable complex systems who can work independently, manage technical schedules and budgets, and explain complex safety issues clearly. The role is fully onsite in Chandler, includes occasional travel, and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
