Machine Operator / Graphite Materials Preparation

This position prepares graphite materials and manufactures or repairs parts using grinders, saws, drills, routers, sanders, and other shop tools. The operator reads blueprints, sketches, and instructions to select appropriate processes, tooling, fixtures, and setups, including calculations involving angles and material nesting. The work supports manufacturing, engineering, and other internal teams through reliable production and courteous communication. It also involves forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment, along with demanding physical activity in a noisy shop environment. The opportunity suits an experienced machine operator with a high school education, strong safety habits, practical problem-solving skills, and the stamina for extended standing and frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
