Material Program Manager - Onsite

The Material Program Manager will develop and implement material and supplier strategies from early program planning through contract completion. This person will manage supplier inquiries and proposals, purchase requests, purchase orders, supplier agreements, and coordination of material deliveries between business units. The role supports technical area directors and principal investigators in a fast-changing product development environment while partnering with procurement, engineering, production control, and IRAD teams. It is suited to an experienced supply chain or procurement professional who can work independently in a matrix organization and communicate effectively with technical and functional leaders. The position is onsite in Tucson, requires up to 10% travel, and requires U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance after the first day.

University degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ yearsExperience with supply chain, production control, or procurement processesSAP and MRP supply-and-demand experienceU.S. citizenship and ability to maintain an active DoD Secret clearanceExperience with supplier statements of work, proposals, and purchase orders preferredStrong communication skills and experience in a matrixed environment
